SPECIAL SERVICES:

SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER (1): The district is seeking applications for a Special Education teaching position working with students in our special services program. Salary schedule and benefits information can be found on the school website or call the Special Services office at (573) 378-7068 or email Erin Smith, Special Services Director, to learn more. To apply for this position complete the Support Personnel application. Applications can be turned in at the Morgan County R-II Central Administrative Office at 913 West Newton Street, Versailles, MO 65084. The Morgan County R-II School District is a 4-Day school district near the Lake of the Ozarks.

EARLY CHILDHOOD SPECIAL EDUCATION PARAPROFESSIONAL(1): Little Tigers Early Learning Center (LTELC) is seeking applications for a paraprofessional position. The current hours for this position are 7:15AM-3:45PM (start at main campus and end at main campus each day-riding the shuttle). This position involves working with our early childhood special education students, alongside two early childhood special education teachers and several other paraprofessionals. This position does require successful completion of the Parapro Assessment and a current substitute certificate (or willingness and ability to obtain both). Persons interested in the position should submit an application, which can be found on the school's website (look for the quick link "Employment"), to Morgan County R-II Central Office, Attention: Danielle Johnson. A salary schedule is also available on the school's website. This position will remain open until filled. Questions about this position may be directed to Kim Murdock, Director of Early Learning.

SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS:

The district is always looking for qualified candidates to substitute for our current certified teaching staff. If you are interested in substituting, you must first complete a Support Teaching Application and turn it in to Danielle Johnson, Secretary to the Superintendent of Schools, at the Central Administrative Offices.

$120 – Substitute Teacher Daily Rate

$140 – Certified Substitute Teacher Daily Rate

TRANSPORTATION POSITIONS:

HEAD SCHOOL BUS MECHANIC:

Morgan County R-II Schools is now accepting applications for the position of Head School Bus Mechanic.

This 12-month position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all district vehicles.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)

• Experience with diesel motor repair and maintenance

• Class B CDL with a P-Passenger Endorsement and a S- School Bus Endorsement

• Must pass annual school bus physical and required drug testing
