Responsible To:
Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, High School Principal, and Middle School PrincipalResponsible For:
Directing all school extra-curricular athletics and activities under the supervision of building principals, in compliance with MSHSAA regulations and Board policies. Ensure a quality 7th–12th grade extra-curricular program that encourages participation, skill development, and sportsmanship.Employment Terms:
11 monthsQualifications:
- Missouri Principal Certificate; Athletic Administrators Certificate or Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of five years’ coaching experience
- Extensive knowledge of MSHSAA and conference rules, regulations, and procedures
- Demonstrated management skills in leadership, planning, budgeting, and evaluation
- Strong public relations skills
Essential Duties:
- Interpret and enforce athletic regulations and requirements for staff, students, and parents; represent the district in MSHSAA and conference activities
- Develop and update staff, participant, and parent handbooks for athletic and activity programs
- Convene an advisory committee regularly to gather input and provide recommendations
- Maintain and implement plans for program improvement, including youth leagues, training, and facilities
- Manage athletic and activities budgets; submit requisitions to the Superintendent for approval
- Schedule activities, competitions, and facility usage; provide calendars to staff and students
- Ensure supervision for all athletic and activity events, both home and away
- Oversee equipment maintenance, inventory, storage, and facility preparation
- Coordinate transportation for all trips related to athletics and activities
- Recruit and recommend coaching and sponsor candidates; ensure credentials are met
- Evaluate Head Coaches and Sponsors; oversee assistant evaluations and provide recommendations
- Maintain records of athletic events, award winners, and participant information, including medical and consent forms
- Determine scholastic eligibility for participants as required

Position Overview: The Morgan County R-II School District in Versailles, Missouri is seeking a dedicated and student-focused Middle School English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a full-time, nine-month teaching position supervised and evaluated by the Versailles Middle School Principal. Applicants must hold a valid Missouri DESE teaching certificate in the appropriate grade level and content area, or be willing to obtain certification within a district-approved timeline.

Reports To: Facilities Director
Starting Salary: $15.00/hour
Position Summary: Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and secure environment for students, staff, and community members. Performs routine cleaning, light maintenance, and security duties during evening hours to prepare the facility for the next instructional day.
Essential Duties:
● Clean classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, and common areas.
● Sweep, mop, scrub, wax, and vacuum floors; empty trash and recycling.
● Sanitize restrooms, wipe desks and high-touch surfaces, restock supplies.
● Set up/tear down rooms for events and meetings.
● Lock and secure buildings at the end of shift.
● Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or vandalism.
● Perform minor repairs and operate custodial equipment safely.
● Assist with snow removal or weather-related duties as needed.
Qualifications:
● High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
● Custodial or maintenance experience preferred.
● Ability to operate cleaning equipment and follow safety procedures.
● Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work independently.
Physical Requirements:
● Stand and walk for extended periods; frequent bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), reaching, and climbing.
● Ability to work in varying environmental conditions.
Work Schedule:
● Evening shift (typically after school hours).
● Occasional overtime for special events or emergencies.

Position: Educational Diagnostician / School Psychological Examiner

The Morgan County R-II School District (Versailles, MO) is seeking a Educational Diagnostician / School Psychological Examiner full-time for the 2026-2027 school year.
Applicants must hold valid Missouri DESE certification as a School Psychological Examiner or meet eligibility requirements for certification prior to the start of employment.
Primary Duties:
- Conduct and coordinate initial evaluations and re-evaluations in accordance with IDEA and Missouri DESE regulations Administer, score, and interpret standardized assessments related to cognitive, academic, behavioral, and adaptive functioning
- Prepare clear, legally defensible written evaluation reports
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and eligibility determinations
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and assist in the development and monitoring of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
- Provide behavior consultation and problem-solving support to teachers and administrators
- Assist with data collection, progress monitoring, and implementation of evidence-based interventions
- Ensure compliance with state timelines, procedural safeguards, and documentation requirements
